BS 5308 – Part 2 : PVC / HR PVC / Zero Halogen Insulated Individually Screened Multi Pair Cable

  • For signal and data transmission used in measurement and control technology such as in control room at industrial plants, power stations, refineries, petrochemical plants.
  • Suitable for underground applications.
  • Twisted Pair, Triad/Quad construction with short pitch & individual aluminum tape shielding, offers excellent immunity to cross talk and low frequency (upto 10 KHz) electrostatic and electromagnetic interference.
  • For BS 5308, these cables are designed for use in communication and instrumentation applications in and around process industries like oil exploration, cement, paper, steel, power generation and others.

  • Insulation : PVC / HR PVC / Zero Halogen
  • Shielding       : Al. Mylar tape

Current Carrying capacity given is for the maximum conductor operating temperature of 80°C and ambient air temperature of 40°C.
