  • Thin walled flexible EBXL control cables for Tap changer of electric locomotives, AC/DC EMU, BG, AC EMU & MEMU
    coaching stock.

Product Construction

  • Conductor : Annealed Tinned Flexible Copper Conductor, Class 5.
  • Insulation : Electron Beam Cross Linked Polyolefin rated 150°C
  • Outer Sheath : Electron Beam Cross Linked Polyolefin rated 150°C

Technical Data

  • Temperature Range :-40°C to +120°C. High insulation resistance at elevated temp.
  • Rated voltage : Above 750V upto 1.8/3kV
  • Short circuit temperature : +280°C
  • Test Voltage : 6kV for 15 mins
  • Bending radius : i) 3 x D for cable dia <10mm
    ii) 5 x D for cable dia >10mm
  • Insulation resistance constant (at room temp) : K ≥ 12000 MΩ.Km
  • Specification : ELRS/SPEC/ELC/0019 Rev 2
